August Field Trip - Acadia National Park - Maine,US

August - Acadia National Park, Maine, U.S.

We will fly up on Thur (4 1/2 hour flight). Sunday we fly back home.

Each day part of our group will travel by mailboat to Duck Harbor Campground on Isle au Haut to spend the night. There are only five primitive campsites on the island. Plan to double up depending upon number on trip.

The rest of the group will camp in the main campground. Group hiking activities during day for group at main campground.

Note - Camp set up & break down / meal prep / fire making, etc will not be provided on island - members will undertake these activities on their own. We will provide basic supplies to take to island, including any fire making materials, backpacks, tents, garbage disposal equipment, bathroom supplies, ready pack meals, picnic lunch, and / or an easily packed dinner like cold fried chicken, etc. And of course - a telescope.
