Lyceum & Book Club - Last Session

Beware of allowing individuals to acquire such power and influence that our very existence is dependent upon their good humour.

We started out this journey talking about the nature of States and Religious Institutions and the power struggle between the two, but maybe we have entered a new era where it is the individual, acting outside of established institutions with their internal/ external checks and balances that rather than the State or Religious Institution, holds the greatest power for their interests alone. And just as we witnessed the harm when States or Religious Institutions are not held accountable, so too, we will come to discover that individuals who hold no position within a restraining institution may be the greatest threat to mankind's existence and well being.

In the annuals of history, this will come to be called the Era of the Immature Male, but among the world’s people it will just be called The Time of the Baby Man
